  1. To Run Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test from Apple Applications Demo CD

  3. Timbuktu® 4.0 Screen Test is a fully-functional trial version of Timbuktu 4.0, which will run on your Mac for 1 week after installation.

  5. Please read the Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test Guide (in Teach Text format) before using Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test.

  7. Installation instructions for CD-ROM versions:

  9. • To install Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test, copy the contents (but not the folder itself) of the “Timbuktu” folder onto a floppy disk (or any other volume which is not your current startup disk).  The Installer will not work when run directly from the CD-ROM or a startup disk.

  11. • You must change the name of the floppy disk to "Timbuktu" in order for the Installer to work correctly.  Close all your currently open applications.  Double-click the "Installer" application on the new Timbuktu floppy disk, select the volume onto which Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test should be installed, and click "Install".  The Installer will automatically reboot your machine after installation, so be sure all programs are closed before opening the Installer.

  13. • Remember, the Timbuktu 4.0 Screen Test will only work for 1 week following its installation.  Have fun!
